Laser Assisted Hatching System
Enhancing Implantation with Laser Assisted Hatching
The outer layer of an embryo, called the Zona Pellucida, protects the developing cells but must be “hatched” to allow the embryo to attach to the uterine lining. Sometimes, natural enzymes in the uterus cannot dissolve this shell, which can prevent implantation and stop the embryo from growing.
Laser Assisted Hatching is an advanced technique that gently creates a small opening in the Zona Pellucida, helping the embryo hatch at the right time. This improves implantation rates and overall IVF success, especially for older women whose eggs have thicker shells or for frozen (cryopreserved) embryos.
Boosting Success for Every Embryo
By supporting timely hatching, this procedure enhances the embryo’s chances of implanting successfully, giving hopeful parents a greater chance of pregnancy.
